Process Steps

Step 1	The Exporter makes a formal request with relevant documents to Director Exports services & Export marketing prior to seven (07) working days of the expected export date
Step 2	Process the documents submitted
Step 3	Export Service Fee waiver(SFW) allowance will be granted The grace period provided for the settlement of Export Service Fee waiver is maximum of 90 days following closure of exhibition. *The grace period provided for the settlement of Export Service Fee waiver is maximum of 90 days following closure of an exhibition. the period of the settlement would be extended for* *only another one month* *upon the request of the exporter* *justifying their need together with a collateral cash/bank guarantee to covering the export service* *amounting to 0.5% of finalized FOB value of the consignment*
Step 4	Parcel will be inspected by the customs and NGJA officers
Step 5	The Exporter should submit sales and return invoice of the prospective export. NGAJ will recover the Export Service Fee amounting to 0.5% of the finalized FOB value in the event where the exporter fails to submit or accurately declare the sold items or submit the very same stones/jewellery for examination for *unclear documents or unjustifiable documents* for the expiry of the grace period provided for settlement
Step 6	Service Fee payment should be made to the cash counter on old items
Step 7	Clear the returned Gem and jewellery parcel from the same branch.
