Grant of Concessionary Period for Amendment of Licenses obtained for Importation of Vehicles in 2018/2019

A decision has been taken to grant a concessionary period of 02 months (from 20.09.2019 to 19.11.2019) for the last time, with regard to acceptance of applications to permit for amendments to Import Control Licenses obtained for the importation of vehicles in 2018 and 2019. Since the validity period of all licenses thus amended is due to expire on 22.12.2019, you are kindly notified to furnish applications, together with documents relevant to the amendment prior to 19.11.2019. Conditions stipulated in the Policy on Importation of Vehicles which is included in the Official Website of this Department and Vehicular Emission Standards and Safety Measures specified in Gazette (Extraordinary) No. 2017/45 dated 25.01.2019 will be applicable for new amendments.
