Exchange of electronic phytosanitary Certificates has recently been introduced by International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC). Accordingly Sri Lanka has been selected one of the pilot countries in the world to implement the Generic ePhyto National System (GeNS) for exchanging ePhyto across the world.

Sri Lanka has already been started exchanging ePhytos officially with New Zealand, USA, Argentina and Chile. Further this facility will be extended to the EU countries in near future.

In order to success the exchange of ePhytos Sri Lankan exporters have to play a bigger role and they are a part of this total process. IT is prerequisite that exporters ought to make request for the phytosanitary Cetificates through the GeNS, an online software. Therefore all exporters are requested to get registered for the ePhyto system in Sri Lanka.

Therefore please submit the duly completed following application with the business registration copy, ID copies of all company users to slephyto@gmail.com. The online registration link will be sent after receiving of the application and the relevant documents.
