  •  With regard to containerized FCL consignments, each container need to be accompanied a copy of e-CDN (Cargo Dispatch Note)

required for,

  • Chanks
  • Timber, i.e. Wood (including logs and sawn timber) classified under H.S. Chapter 44 excluding coconut shell charcoal, household utensils of wood and rubber wood.
  • Passenger motor vehicles first registered in Sri Lanka prior to 01.January.1945
  • Ivory and ivory products
  • Steel scrap

*Ebony products are allowed to be exported on the recommendation of the National Craft Council.

Transporting goods to the Seaport/Airport

Processing the consignment to assess whether the goods are according to the ship note/ boat note
