Process Steps
Step 1 |
Submission of the relevant documents to the claims section
|
Step 2 |
Claims section is to date stamp the copy of the form and returns it to the consignee
|
Step 3 |
Obtaining the signature of the JLM in charge of the Claims |
Step 4 |
Claims section to fill in the WIC 1 and send to the relevant sufferance warehouse
|
Step 5 |
Storekeeper to reply along with the tally sheet copy for the reference of the claims section
|
Step 6 |
The reply is received from claims and a response letter is drafted and printed for the consignee
|
Step 7 |
If there is an item under NIL mark, the consignee is invited to check the same in the warehouse |
Step 8 |
Consignee to check the good in the warehouse and respond regarding the ownership of the item |
Step 9 |
If the consignment under NIL mark belongs to them it is allowed to be cleared after payment |
Step 10 |
If the packages don’t belong to them, the consignee’s response is sent to the SK |
Step 11 |
SK to release a statement of justification, which is sent to the claims section |
Step 12 |
According to the statement a pre-drafted response is chosen and sent to the consignee |
