1.	Importer’s Proxy	i. Download the Draft from the Sri Lanka Customs website at https://www.customs.gov.lk ii. The Draft of the proxy should be printed on the original letter heading of the Importer
2.	Board Resolution	If the company is a Limited Liability Company or a Public Company, pass a Board Resolution appointing one Director or required number of Directors as per Articlesof Association of the companyto sing the Proxy and Acceptence of proxy only if applicable
3.	Acceptance of Proxy	i. Download the Draft from the Sri Lanka Customs website at https://www.customs.gov.lk ii.The Draft of the Acceptence of proxy should be printed on the original letter heading of the custom house agent

Process Steps

Step 1	Download the draft of the proxy
Step 2	Sign the draft of the proxy
Step 3	Hand over the Proxy and the Board Resolution (if applicable) to the Customs House Agent
Step 4	Download the draft of acceptence of proxy
Step 5	Sign the Acceptence of proxy
Step 6	Submit the Proxy, Acceptance of Proxy and the Board Resolutions – if applicable–to the Exports Directorate of Sri Lanka Customs for registration.
