Mines And Minerals Act No.15 of 1958, as amended by Acts Nos. 33 of 1992, 66 of 2009.

1	Provide details of the Applicant.
2	Provide the Details of the buyer.
3	Provide the details about the Minerals to exported such as: its grade,Quantity,whether it was from a mine,whether the mineral is processed.
4	Provide the details as to the invoice Value, FOB price in foreign currency and Sri Lankan currency, the Sri Lankan exchange Rates.
5	Provide details as to the name of the Vessel.
6	Provide a description of the packing and the address details as to where minerals are stored.
7	If the applicant was issued a License previously, provide the date of its issuance.
8	Provide the details as to the settlements of Royalty.

Process Steps

Step 1	Applicant should submit a duly filled application form together with the relevant documentation and forward it to the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau
Step 2	Application is reviewed and processed.
Step 3	Applicant is notified when the License is issued.
