Process Steps

Step 1
|
A request should be forwarded by the applicant to the Telecommunication Regulation Commission (TRC) in writing with the relevant documents in Item 1 above.

Step 2
|
Application is forwarded to the Ministry of Defence (if applicable).
|
|
Step 3
|
Tax invoice would be prepared and rendered to the applicant by TRC (if charges are applicable)
|
|
Step 4
|
TRC will issue a no objection letter to the applicant addressed, to the Controller/Imports & Exports allowing the importation of equipment mentioned in the required Documents above.
|
|
Step 5
|
TRCSL will issue a no objection letter to the applicant, addressed to the Director General of Customs on submission of documents stated as above.
|
| Step 6 |
TRCSL will issue a no objection letter to the applicant, addressed to the Board of Investment on submission of documents stated as above. |
Note: For re-export of equipment the following documents should be annexed to the written application-
- Comprehensive list of equipment to be re-exported.(Proforma Invoice)
- A copy of the approval issued by TRCSL at the time of importation.
- Details of locations where the equipment were installed.
