Ceylon tea showcased at Myung Won World Tea Expo 2018 in Seoul

The Sri Lanka Embassy in Seoul, in partnership with the Myung Won Culture Institute, facilitated the participation of the Sri Lanka Tea Board Director General Anura Siriwardhana as a special guest at the 2018 Myung Won World Tea Expo held from 2 to 5 August at the COEX in Seoul.  Director General Siriwardhana made a presentation at the Expo on ‘Ceylon Tea’, followed by a tea-tasting event on 3 August, which was well-received by a packed gathering of Korean tea professionals.

The Myung Won World Tea Expo was held in 2018 for the 23rd year hosted by the Myung Won Culture Institute, the Korea Federation of Tea Ceremony, and the Black Tea Association, with the support of the Korean Government and private sector entities.
