Regulations

 1. These Regulations may be cited as “Imports and Exports Control Regulations No. 09 of 2021”.

2. These Regulations shall be in force effective from 11 June 2021.

3. No exporter shall export the goods specified in the Schedule I without the recommendation of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority, Sri Lanka.

4. Final decision on any issues arising in relation to implementation of these Regulations shall be made by the Controller General of Imports and Exports considering the interest of national economy, public health and environmental security.
